Crusade's Welcome Back Meeting!

Hey Crusaders,

I hope you all had a great holiday with your family and friends. I know for a lot of you, one month break is simpily not enough. However, I know for sure that all of you are very excited about Crusade's first meeting of this Spring Semester, 2008!

A special note to all: Crusade's meeting location has moved to ALVARADO AB in the TSU.

CRUSADE's FRIST MEETING:

Where: Alvarado AB in Titan Student Union (TSU)

Crusade lunch will be followed after the meeting at the Courtyard, as usual.

This is Why I'm Hot

Hey guys,
It's amazingly hot right now. I'm about ready to sneak past an eskimo and steal his igloo. I don't really mean that, but it is hot. But not as warm as all the hot stuff we have going on with Campus Crusade for Christ. (How's that for a segway??)

The Weekly Meeting - This week Pastor Jeff Cox is coming from Southland Christian Church to talk about how we can know the will of God in our lives. You do not want to miss this, Wednesday at noon. TSU Titan Theater.

Prayer Walk - We are holding a prayer event this Saturday at 7pm at the Dorm MPR where we will prayer walk the campus, pleading with God to do a miraculous work on our campus. The world is changed through prayer. Contact Crista with Questions (562) 382-4528

Beach Clean-up and Bonfire - On Saturday the 15th we are doing a beach clean-up. But this isn't your Grandma's Beach Clean-up, this clean-up Crusade style. This is an awesome opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ by joining others in service. Contact Jen with questions. (714) 260-1417

We won't have a room to meet in on Wed. Sept. 12th but we will still be meeting by the ATMs to go out and share with the campus. That's all for now folks. Keep it real.

Hey guys,
I hope you all had a great summer, it's exciting to begin another semester of serving God on our campus. Here's what you need to know as school begins:

Our first meeting: This will be the first Wednesday, that's August 22nd, at noon in the Titan Student Union Theater room. Don't be lame, make sure you're there.

Back to School party: Friday night at Brent's house; 814 Goldenrod St. Placentia, CA It starts as 7pm and bring a friend...or three.

As far as our regular scheduled events, here's what our calender will look like:
Weekly Meetings: Wednesdays at noon in the TSU Theater. Come to lunch after.
Dorm Revival: Thursday nights at 8pm in the dorm MPR.
American Language Club: Wednesdays at 2pm in the TSU. Contact Jolene (714) 260 1416 if you are interested in helping.

This Week at Cal State Fullerton

Hey guys, we have some awesome things going on this week.

First of all we are having a huge outreach out on campus at Cal State Fullerton during our normal weekly meeting time on Wednesday. It is going to be the last big outreach of the semester.

And then on Friday we are going to the first annual LA Metro CRU Prom event. It is going to be awesome!

Girls are going to wear their prom dresses from high school and guys will be wearing anything from tuxes to slacks and a nice shirt. This is event is sold out. The event will be located at 212 Elk Lane Santa Ana, CA 92701. Hey, I love you guys. Thanks for being part of what God has been doing this semester at CSUF. I know that many of us are at many different places on our spiritual journey with God and I thank God that CRU CSUF has been a safe place to check out God and see his community at work.

Campus Crusade Fullerton - Praying for Virginia Tech

Hey Guys, I hope that you are having a good week. This week we will be meeting together in the field that is east of the Pollock Library to worship God and pray for the VT Massacre.

On behalf of Campus Crusade for Christ Cal State Fullerton our hearts break with those who have lost loved ones during the Virginia Tech Massacre which took place earlier this week. We are constantly in prayer that the God of comfort will comfort those who are in need of his comfort in the midst of their suffering right now.

FRIDAY: THE KATRINA RELIEF TRIP BEGINS - Join us March 23- Saturday 31 as we serve the community in New Orleans through physical labor, such as cleaning and building, and spiritual ministry.
